I am a proficient pattern drafter and cutter. I can style wigs and specialise in making headpieces. I initially studied fashion textiles before moving to costume, this has given me experience with using different materials as well as informing my love of not just silhouette but texture in costume. I find inspiration in a wealth of different areas, art, literature, fashion, the natural world, historical and contemporary costume to just an everyday object or space. I love the process of designing and making, and the element of surprise seeing a project through from beginning to end.
